Dependable easy to use choice
Easy to use, outside stays cool. Can get messy, but for a deep fryer, it's not too messy. Controls are good. Temperature is reliable, you can get it plenty hot enough. Food comes out not greasy, it produces fried food that is relatively grease-less. Have used at least ten times with consistent results. Recommend use near vent fan (as one should with any fryer). Easy to clean; oil bucket can be removed, as can heating element. Coming from pan-frying, and not already owning a crock pot fryer, I was concerned about adding another appliance to the kitchen; but the job this item does makes it worth having an "extra" appliance. It has a decent capacity for a family of four. Good value for the money.

I researched different products of this nature and Oster had the best rating overall. I was not disappointed. The only bad thing is it does take a lot of oil. But the oil can be used again and again, as long as it is properly stored. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good deep fryer, Thank you Oster......

This item is a must to have for your ovens. I have had others in the past and I am sure this would work just as well. THese last very long and you can clean them with soap and water. Yes, my oven is a self cleaning oven but I still protect the oven floor from spills. It is easier to clean this mat rather than the oven.

These pie pops are very small and flat, around the size of silver dollar pancakes maybe? They cook quickly but also burn easily so you have to watch out. Thin, runny fillings are likely to spill over the edges of the bottom crusts by the time you get the top crusts arranged properly, and chunky fillings with large pieces don't fit very well either. On the plus side, they pop right out of the non-stick interior when done. The accessories included a metal cookie-cutter type thing for making the crusts the right size easily, a tube for the filling, a stand for holding the pops by their sticks, and a pack of lollipop sticks to start off with. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase, although I do wish it would hold more fillings.

it died young
Got this for my niece for Christmas. She loved it, used it twice, and it died. She didn't drop it, bang it, or do anything bad to it, it was just plain badly made. Now we're navigating the complicated process of returning as a gift delivered to another place (in other words, I the buyer cannot be the one actually returning it) and it's been a pain. Also, can't replace, can only attempt a refund. Forget this one.

I was very surprisez as how great this filter works! The water quality noticebly got better. I used to have a white residue after ice melted, but not anymore since I have been using this filter! Easy to install.

Duraflame DFS-550CRN Freestanding Electric Stove with Remote Control

Defective Product and No Support From Manufacturer
Two days after I received this stove, it started to malfunction. Since I'm not at all interested in burning my house down, the stove has been sitting in a corner since January 18th, while I've been trying in vain to contact the manufacturer. I've tried email, phone calls, their useless customer service portal and even their facebook page. Based on comments on facebook, I am far from the only person who is dealing with faulty products and a complete lack of customer service. The seller did respond to my email immediately and contacted the manufacturer on my behalf, but I still have had no resolution to this problem.

Update 02/20/2012: I want to note that that seller, Electric Fireplaces Direct, took care of my problem by providing a replacement stove that arrived today. I appreciate this, since this was a manufacturer's warranty issue and not a problem with the seller or shipper. I never did receive any contact from the manufacturer and will make a point of not purchasing...

expensive to use for heat
I purchased this for Christmas and it shipped fast and damage free! It looks nice for a small electric heater although it heats only the size of a average bedroom nice on HIGH non stop. My power bill tripled after running it for a month so now it sits completely shut off. Keep in mind if you purchased this that it's expensive to use for heat.

Generic Hoover WindTunnel Self-Propelled, and Bagless Models HEPA Exhaust Filter, Fits Hoover Part#40110001

Looking for the Hoover HEPA final filter?
This is a true HEPA final filter for the Hoover self-propelled vacuum. I'm not sure why the photo shows an allergan final filter. I uploaded a photo of what arrived when I placed my order. I did receive a HEPA filter. I ordered 2 of them and plan on ordering more. This filter has a soft rubber seal around all 4 sides of the filter, ensuring dust does not escape around the filter. It works exactly the way a HEPA filter should work. The company I ordered it from, Discount Cleaning Products, was fantastic on communication and service. I'll order from them again!

I ordered the brand name Hoover final filter from Hoover's website and was deeply disappointed to find they no longer make a decent HEPA filter. They redesigned their HEPA filter, removed the seal around the edge which means there is now 1/8" gap on all 4 sides of the filter. Hoover still has the nerve to call it a HEPA filter.

This filter is competent, with over 99% filtration, but, technically, the package does not say "HEPA" (only "allergen") so the filter should not be advertised as "HEPA" by amazon.

Excellent fit & excellent price for a HEPA filter
Pleasantly surprised. I was expecting the "Allergen" (non-HEPA) filter in the plastic bag that is pictured. Instead I received an EnviroCare "Odor Neutralizing HEPA Filter with Activated Charcoal Final Filter" in a green box. It was a HEPA filter as advertised. VERY happy with this purchase and will order more!

KRUPS ZX7000 KRUPS Stainless Steel Citrus Press with Press Arm, Silver

slightly disappointed
This juicer extracts the juice so efficiently that I have to use one orange less every day to get the same amount of juice that I got with my old juicer. However, the Krups has difficulties handling a grapefruit at the automatic setting and I need to switch to the manual. Also, I was very disappointed to find out that this model does not come with a drip stopper which necessitates the placement of an extra glass under the spout to catch the dripps, or it must be disassembled immediately after use so that is does not drip. I have also inserted a paper towel into the spout to regulate the drips. For this price, Krups should include a drip stopper.

Solid construction
When our $15 juicer went after one year,we went shopping for a replacement. But all the reviews of the juicers that were in the same or even slightly higher price range were mainly disappointing. It appears that a common theme of those reviews was that the juicer just did not last. We use our juicer about once every two weeks and only during the winter months when we wanted to make fresh lemonade from the lemons we grew in our garden. So, it wasn't as if we stressed it beyond reasonable use. We searched for something which would last instead of having to replace it every year.

In fact, buying a new $15 juicer each year for 6 or 7 years would still be cheaper than buying the Krups and we did consider that alternative. But we decided spend a bit more on something that would last a long time instead of having to deal with this each year. We searched for something with a much more powerful motor since the more powerful the motor, the less likely it will burn out if you use it...

An excellent choice for a citrus juicer
After reading reviews about all the heavy-duty/commercial juicers available on Amazon, I bought this for my husband for Christmas. With lots of family in town and a trailer-full of oranges, tangerines, and lemons from a local grove, he opened it a few days early. It juiced SEVERAL HUNDRED pounds of citrus over the next couple weeks without a single glitch. The design is simple- easy to use and clean. Our 5-year-old juiced tangerine juice for about 20 people all by himself. Our guests helped themselves to fresh juice throughout the day because it was so easy to use. No time to give it a good washing in the dishwasher, but it was easy to rinse out in the sink. Even our 3-year-old can juice for himself with this machine. Oster Plastic Blender Jar, Clover Leaf Shape

More volume, lighter jar
This blender jar is lightweight and has an extra cup of volume compared with the glass one that it's replacing. I love it!

One thing, though, is that the picture doesn't reflect the actual product - it's just the jar, no cover is included. For me, that wasn't a problem because I still have the top from the glass jar it's replacing. But if you're in the market for a jar with a top, you'll have to buy the top separately.

Crap and a waste of money.Stick with Glass
This jar was touted to fit the Oster blender I had and as such I was hopeful to have taken fit issues out of the equation. I ordered this as a replacement jar that was shattered when one of my kids dropped the original. So my thought was how cool, plastic no more broken glass as I am fully aware that with two young boys, this thing will drop again.

When I received it and tried to use it, any liquid leaked out of the bottom, making it inoperable. I figured that maybe I should have ordered new seals as well so I ordered them, again from Oster, only to have the same leaking result. Next I ordred a new plastic lock ring only to be disappointed again.

The long and the short of it is stick with glass. I threw it all away and ordered a different brand and have never looked back and missed a crappy Oster product.

Excellent product..fit right onto the original bottom. It is lightweight and I'm not concerned about breakage. I use it for my yogurt smoothies and it works just fine. The one I owned before was glass and broke on my granite counter. Delivery was quick as well.

Rival RC101 10-Cup (Cooked) Rice Cooker with Steaming Basket, White/Black

The best rice cooker we've used....
We've used several brands of rice cookers, all claiming to be good. One caught on fire after two months, another lasted only a year before it simply stopped working all together.

When we spotted the Rival cooker at a local store, we bought it based on the name. I've used Rival crockpots since my college days, and have never had a problem with them.

This cooker does the job, and does it well. We've had ours for just over two years, and the non-stick bowl has only now started to show wear. We mainly cook brown rice, with only the occasional white rice meal.

We like the larger capacity bowl. Though we could get along with a smaller bowl, this one allows us to add things in or various recipes, and the warming option keeps the meal nicely warmed.

We plan to replace our current rice cooker with the exact same model.

**My only issue with the 10-cup cooker has been the smaller bowl. If you're like me and sometimes add other ingredients...

Good rice BUT......
I have been making rice with this cooker for 2 months now. It spews starchy boiling rice water on my counter every time I make rice. But,, I like the rice it makes. It is much better than what I made on the stove top. I was considering returning this cooker and getting another, as I checked the reviews, I found that many others had this same problem. I have decided to keep it; I worked out a little system of putting down 3 paper towels on the counter and when the cooking is done, I wrap up the mess and throw it in the garbage.

I had the smaller Rival Rice Cooker and LOVED it. I have been wanting the larger one, but could not justify replacing my perfectly good little one.
Welllll as fate would have it, I dropped the lid. It shattered. I now really do need a new rice cooker. I have decided to replace it with this Rival 10-cup rice cooker.
Even though I dropped and broke the glass lid, I prefer glass lids (on all my pots and pans).

I make rice ALL the time... ALL kinds of rice. I have never had a problem with cooking any variety in my Rival rice cooker.
Lots of people complain about the starchy water spewing forth from the lid. I learned many years ago to rinse the rice before cooking. The traditional Japanese
way is to rinse three times. Believe me, I do and it works. Absolutely NO starchy-watery mess. Some prefer putting the rice in a strainer and running it under cold

Very nice
It is a nice freezer to have for two people. Nobody want a 7 foot freezer for 2.people...not unless you are big and fat and want to be sure to stay that way....it is about 4,times the freezer space of a refrigerator which is fine with my son. Very efficient....so far. It has the standard opening for defrosting. It is also very light weight....and they deliver to the door.... And they were much quicker than I expected....I ordered it for my son and just happened to be there when they delivered it. I was expecting a friend if his and there was the delivery man. It works nicely and they are quite pleased.
They will get lots of use out of it this summer. :)

Panasonic Type U / U3 Vacuum Bags Standard Filtration

Photo Misleading
I found that the product that arrived was not the same as the one pictured. Since the written description was incomplete, one is left to rely on the photograph of the product as a fair representation of what you expect to get when you purchase it. My product only contained 9 bags while the one pictured indicates 12. Also, the manufacturer was not the same. Buyer beware!

These bags are great paired with the great power of the Panosonic vacuum.
However, my ownly problem was that I assumed the picture was how many bags would come, and there were less in the package.

Beware, not all 14x14 filters are the same size
The filter seems to be comparable quality to the builder filters, but the Glasflos filter it was replacing was 13.5x13.5, while this one is 13 3/4 x 13 3/4 (maybe even 13 7/8 x 13 7/8). I'm not sure if Glasflos are unuasually small, or the PrecisionAire are too large, but they do not quite fit my air returns.

TSM Products TSM Harvest Food Dehydrator

Good Value!
I purchased this TSM model after mulling over the purchase of a dehydrator for a few months and reading many, many reviews. I liked the reviews elsewhere on TSM stainless steel models, but wanted to test the waters with dehydrating foods before taking that kind of plunge. I've been putting it through it's paces for the last week and despite a few quibbles, I'm pretty happy with this machine.

On the plus side, this thing packs a lot of drying space into its footprint: a little over 10 sq. ft. for something that's the size of a small microwave. I can dry up to three pineapples' worth of thinly cut slices overnight, and in the morning, rinse off the trays for some beef jerky that will be finished by that evening. Second, this model is relatively quiet. I have an open floor plan downstairs, and the ambient noise level for the kitchen/living area is about 48 dB. With the dehydrator running, it's about 56 dB from across the room and 66 dB standing right in front of it. The volume...

Let Me Tell You, I Dehydrate A LOT
and this thing is horrible. So if I can help others save their hard earned money, please save up for an Excalibur. They are worth what they cost and I'll tell you why. I got my TSM Harvest Dehydrator today and I was very excited. I have a lot that I need to get dehydrated before it goes bad. I already have a 9 tray Excalibur and needed another. So I started shopping around and found this. It is a thing of beauty. It takes up less counter space because the trays are not as wide as the Excalibur, but they give you a tenth tray. The trays do not come with mesh sheets, and therefore, things that are smaller can fall through the trays. The trays could also break because of the kind of plastic they're made of, whereas, the Excaliburs trays flex. I would not worry about them breaking. There is not front door, but the trays are designed in such a way that when they are all in the unit, it doesn't need a door. great gadget
I love this thing!
We got it to try and make beef jerky, the one thing we hadn's tried yet.
But it's so easy to operate, never imagined we'd get so much use out of this gadget - kids are eating the dried fruits up by the pounds, when before the apples just stayed in the vase for days and days. I've tried rising the dough and making croutons. Works wonderfully, cleans up in a second. Highly recommend.

I decided to go for this Honeywell portable air conditioner and I am so glad that I did! It worked really well throughout the entire summer. We had some really hot days and this air conditioner always provided releif and the portability is really convenient. The other nice feature is that when the unit is not being used you can take the exhaust pipe out of the window for when its cold out, or for security so that you can lock your window. The performance of this unit was really above my expectations. It cooled our Kitchen, Livingroom, Dining Room and a large hallway! One word...SUPER!
For the life of me, I can't understand all the bad reviews on this air conditioner. Does not blow cold air? Does not cool the room? Too loud?? All I can figure is that these users did not adjust the settings and/or venting correctly (fan mode vs cooling mode; temperature set too high; venting blocked). So far, my experience with this product has been excellent. It definitely blows cold air; it definitely cools the room I bought it for; and even on the highest speed, it is no louder than a fan (in fact, it is quieter than one of my fans). Not having to regularly empty a condensation bucket/tray is also a HUGE plus! I highly recommend this product.

I Don't Recommend
The reviews indicate that this will cool a room. I haven't found that to be the case. I live in San Diego in a small one-bedroom apartment. The bedroom has a window unit that does an awesome job of cooling that room. The Honeywell blows cold air but even with a fan boosting the cold air into the room, it's fails at keeping the other 400 square feet below 80 degrees. Keeping in mind that San Diego is not exactly a furnace.

Pet peeve: why don't they make the units able to fit flush against wall and make the sides accessible for venting and airflow?

It's relatively quiet and attractive as these units go but seriously wish I had spent the money on a window unit.

A nice, and fun little portable fridge
First off, I like this little fridge. The unfortunate part, it wasn't what I really wanted or expected.

I was looking for a portable refrigerator that I could bring back and forth to work. I really like the size of it. It's a good size. It's not very heavy, at least to me. Can use in the home and car. I was able to keep six cans of soda, two one little bottles of water, snack jello and puddling cups, fruit, and so forth. It comes with shelves, but I wasn't able to put what I needed with them installed.

What I didn't like was that it was a thermoelectric refrigerator. It will cool or warm contents (there's a switch in the back to pick the mode). It will only cool items 20 degrees C (68 Fahrenheit) below outside temperature to a maximum or 5 degee C ((41 Fahrenheit). I like my food colder and can't be adjusted; see manual picture.

The build quality is solid. The only thing that may be questionable is the door handle. I didn't have issue. I...

I bought this fridge for my hubby to keep at his office at work. He had to move to a different office and could not take it with him, his loss, my gain!

The fridge is very quiet, I have it running constantly to keep my sodas and lunch cold...now I don't have to worry about using a shared fridge at work!

Household Essentials Deluxe Ironing Board Pad and Cover, Blue Silicone

yuck!
I thought this would make the iron glide easily, being silicone and all, but within a week we noticed the blue coating getting all over the bottom of the iron, making it sticky. This is NOT what you want with an iron. Took it off and threw it away.

What's that Smell?!?
Like many people have said, this cover fit the ironing board perfectly and clothes iron well on top of it.

But, when you iron, it STINKS!! If you are like me, you'll be shopping for a new cover after ironing a few times.

Good no stick surface, but needs strap
The old cover we had on the board was a Polder. It lasted about two years. This cover and pad is well made and fit our 54" x 15" board well. The part of the cover at the shoulder where the board tapers needs to have a strap. If they would have supplied the strap, (which is available separately, but for some reason not from Amazon Prime)I would have rated it a 5 star.

The cover is non stick and the iron glides easily on the surface. There is a odor when first ironing on it, it does go away. The pad is thick enough to prevent the grid of the board from coming through.

All in all a good cover and pad for the price.

Deni 7600 3-Tier 9-1/2-Quart Stainless-Steel Digital Food Steamer

Poor Product
I purchased this steamer as a Christmas gift for my wife in 2006. Within a few weeks it started to leak and then the digital clock failed. We returned it to the company for replacement. They sent a new one, and the clock on that one also failed, so we retuned it in Oct. of '07. They finally sent us another new one in Feb. of '08. Within a few days, the digital clock on this unit failed. I can accept that one unit can have a defect, and it's not out of the question that a second one could, by coincidence, also have the same defect, but three units with the exact same defect??? I don't think so. This is a good looking product that is inferior in quality. Stay away from it!

leaky, unstable steamer
It looks fancy in the picture. The panel is actually hard to read. The steam penetrates through the panel and thus make it blurry and leaks/steams out. It has an unstable base. Bought three. Opened one. Returned three.

Great Steamer
I ordered this steamer to make a central Asian dish that requires a special pot that is not sold in the States. Only after already ordered I've read the previous review and got really concerned. So as soon as the steamer arrived I immediately tested it. I made my Central Asian dish "manti" and it turned out great. The display was easy to read and set. The steam did not "leak" into the base but worked the way it should be. Perhaps the person who left the previous review had a defected steamer. Give it a try. I love mine.

Good fridge, horrible packaging
Fridge seems nice. It looks nice and is well laid out allowing full use of it unlike most fridges which cause you to waste a lot of space.

The packaging is HORRIBLE (see customer images where I have attached them). The is almost like a sleeve to the fridge with just small Styrofoam around just the corners. My box had no signs of damage, yet it has 6 dents on the back edges and the hinges were bent. I had to take the hinge brackets off and hammer them back into shape for the door to even stay on. And now my door is slightly off center, but at least it opens and closes properly and doesn't fall off any more. REALLY PATHETIC PACKING. Its shipped from manufacturer though, not Amazon so its not eligible for packaging feedback.

I dont live in the US and it was forwarded in a shipping container and it would cost me more to return it than it cost me to buy it. So I'm keeping it, but I guess those of you in the US can return it if it comes damaged.

Okay, so I received this fridge on Wednesday evening, two days ago. The packaging was good, had no dents or anything. My biggest fear was dents. I bought this as my main fridge to keep in my room because I'm on the top floor of a three floor house, and going downstairs for items that I can easily put in a mini fridge was driving me nutty plus, my normal fridge was giving problems, so I knew that at some point I'd want/need a mini fridge anyway.

Loved the fridge, praised it on Facebook because it kept my food cold, and had a nice size mini freezer. My freezer on my old fridge was not working so I had no ice or flavored ices which my son loves. I loved this so much I even registered it on the Darby site that day.

Brita Refrigerator Replacement Filters for GE

Exactly the same as the GE MWF
I decided to replace the original filter on my GE refrigerator after about 10 months when the "change filter" light came on. I went to the local hardware store and found a replacement for $49 plus tax. It seemed expensive, so I decided to check Amazon instead and found these along with the OEM GE filters.
I was reluctant to try a filter other than the GE just to save a few bucks, but if they are identical, why waste money? Besides, Brita is probably better known than GE for filters. Anyway, the filter looks, fits and works just like the original. I have noticed no difference in water flow or noise. The water tastes clean and looks clear.
One note - as per the instructions you should pre-fill the filter at the tap before installation and then run about 10 glasses of water through the new filter before use to stabilize the flow.
As for the vendor - Fridge Filters, I found that you cannot track their packages online as you can with most things purchased from Amazon, but...

Works great and it's cheaper
You wouldn't think installing a water filter in a refrigerator is rocket science but apparently some people have had trouble with these filters. We use them and haven't had any trouble. If you follow the instructions you won't have any either. They're pretty straightforward:

- Fill the new filter with water. Tap the sides of the filter and add water if necessary, until the bubbles stop coming up.

- After the new filter is installed, run the water dispenser for 3 minutes.

It's that simple. We still get a few minor sputters after running the dispenser but that goes away quickly. The flow doesn't seem any less than through a new GE filter and the water tastes fine.

To remember when to change it write the date on the filter with a permanent marker after the filter's installed (so you can see the date clearly).

Works Just Fine
I have replaced my filter twice already and am looking for a third (4th if you count the one the frig came with). First replacement was with the GE filter and second was with this Brita. I never noticed any slow flows or louder than normal sounds. Water doesn't taste any better or worse than with the GE filter. I stumbled accross these reviews looking for another replacement. I think I will go back to a GE model just to try and make another comparison. This review probably isn't that helpful except to say that the thing worked fine for me.

I have had the GE brand filter in for a while now and it is definitely true that the Brita filter flows noticeably slower. Still can't taste any difference in water. In the future I will go with whichever one I find is the cheapest.

It was perfect
Could not find the product in stores so since we had just bought the Broan Hood for our range I knew this would be a great match. It really completed the upgrade to our kitchen.

Nice product, but be prepared for what you get
The good - it matched the Broan range hood exactly, nice quality (it is sheet steel, but nice guage).

The bad - it wasn't well packaged -- the first one was shipped back before it ever arrived. The 2nd one arrived safely (thank FedEx). That said -- there were still a few imperfections at the bottom (which I put at the bottom of the install).

The ugly - first, I have done quite a bit of home improvement -- but the install was frustrating. No instructions (not that you need them, right?) ... but the one side had a plastic protective coating that I almost missed that can be removed. But the worst part was ... with the four screws -- the sheet did not lay flat on our wall. Instructions could have explained what I found on the internet... use construction adhesive if needed to flatten the install (I used a light amount and smoothed it out with a wide putty knife.

Conclusion - I would buy it again -- but Broan could do more to help the install go...

Exact Replacements ERB5103 Bake Element

Easy Replacement
This worked perfectly on my Frigidaire oven. The old heating element caused the oven to trip the circuit breaker. It was a 5 minute replacement and works perfectly for 1/3 the cost of a replacement at a brick and mortar store. My only complaint was it was bent out of shape, but it bended back easily.

Swapping it out is very easy, just be sure to unplug the oven before you start.

Small, but good toaster oven.
This toaster oven is capable of cooking two small meals. It is thin brushed aluminum inside and out, which will last for the life of the oven, but dents easily. It heats up quickly and takes less time to cook then larger toaster ovens. The knobs are simple and easy to operate. I like it, because what used to take 20 minutes in a larger toaster oven to cook now takes 10 to 15 minutes to cook. It is easy to clean and light weight.

Great little broiler
I don't get the negative reviews,,, this is a small, 2 slice toaster that will fit in a small space. When you have a small work area, you are grateful for a good small Toaster. I purchased it locally on sale and it works perfectly. Food heated up quickly and it seems like the temps are accurate. True, the knobs are a little slippery due to the smooth stainless finish, but it is very workable. It does everything the big boys do, only meant for more cramped quarters.
I like this Toaster Oven and it looks great.

The interior of this toaster oven is much smaller than expected -- there's no way it can fit four slices of standard size bread at one time. Ticking is very loud, and the knobs are so smooth it's extremely difficult to turn them. I returned it.

Whole House Fan Shutter Cover Seal - Trim To Fit

Good Product
It came in a box rolled up which caused it to look wrinkly at first, but it was a no-brainer to install, the wrinkles worked themselves out, and really it does not look too bad considering it's like a white shiny blanket taped to my ceiling. I am pleased. It will do the job I am sure. I love my whole house fan but I know I have lost much heat throughout the winter by leaving it uncovered prior to now. For the price I think it is an excellent product.

Good cover, don't bother buying magnetic strips
This product is a very good covering for our 32" ceiling fan. The material is about 1/3" thick, and there is enough of it to cover a much bigger fan. It comes with enough velcro to attach the the cover completely around the edge. I noticed in the Amazon ad that others had purchased magnetic strips to attach the cover, rather than using the velcro strips. I thought this was a good idea, because I thought the seal around the edge would be better. I also thought the magnetic strips would allow for easier removal of the cover. Since our ceiling fan has a non-magnetic louver (aluminum), I decided to buy two 10' packages of the magnetic strips and glue the strips both to the louver and the cover. However, the magnetic strips are very weak, and I found they barely support the weight of the cover. I thought that a good winter wind through the attic could blow the cover off. So I used the provided velcro instead, and I am happy with the result. The velcro is strong enough to hold the...

Thin, hard to install and pretty useless, but most of all: Ugly.
This is an extremely this piece of insulation that also contains some velcro for you to attach to the insulation and to the attic fan. It looked absolutely terrible after it was installed. I immediately took it back down and threw it in the trash. If you really want to try this out, just buy some velcro and a thin piece of insulation. I can't imagine this really does any good and it looks really stupid. Instead, I'm going to try buying some foam board insulation and build a "box" to go around the attic fan from the attic side instead. It will be more efficient and not look terrible.

This is great for getting foods crispy and fits nicely in my 6-slice toaster oven. The bottom part would make a nice cake pan too so I line it with foil to catch drippings when grilling something on the top part. As always I was impressed with how quickly I received my order.

Amazing Pan at An Amazing Price from WILTON
I searched high and low for a crisping pan specifically designed for my toaster oven. I wasn't going to spend twice as much money for those flimsy silicone crisping sheets that you have to cut to size and can only heat to a certain temperature. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this great pan came as part of a set with a matching baking pan. At $8.99 with S&H included? from Wilton, the most trusted name in baking and cake decorating supplies? It was a no brainer to order this wonderful product, and it is a perfect gift item as well for all my friends for the holidays.

Well made, but too wide and tall for my oven.
This pan at it's widest is just over 11in wide. It just barely won't fit in my Panasonic NB-G110P toaster oven.

The total height is just under 2in. If the width wasn't an issue the height of the crisping insert would prevent most food from fitting in the oven. That which did fit would be very close to the heating elements. A sandwich, as pictured, wouldn't fit.

It seems well made. I would expect in much larger toaster oven this would work well.

Not Worth the Effort
Pros:

This unit, which uses an impeller rather than a central agitator, holds more clothes than you'd guess. It's difficult to gauge its size because there is no frame of reference in the photo, so I surprised it was large enough to hold a decent sized load of clothes, or, in one load, a king sized set of sheets. Also, the unit is monkey-simple to use.

Cons:

Boy, where to start. The unit is simply more trouble than it's worth. By the time you adapt your washing routine to accommodate its shortcomings, you've rendered the convenience, inconvenient. Just a few of the limitations:

1. It has a very short drain hose, less than 3 feet. Since there is no spin cycle, the unit relies on gravity to empty. This means you must lay the drain hose down to drain. The hose rests upright against the back, on a hook, during use, and you lift it off the hoke and lay it down to drain, against the ground. Consequently, forget about draining this into the bathtub...

honest opinion based on use
This washer does exactly what it says...it washes your clothes..you have to put clothes in, fill up with desired amount of water, use about 1/4 amount of usual detergent or you will pay for it later :)..set timer plug in and wash...it is a little noisy about the same noise as a regular washer and it fit right inside my tub..I have a small bathroom so the plug did reach the nearest socket...If you have pretty nice size bathroom you will need an extension of some sorts to reach the outlet. after the clothes are done washing you let the drain hose down in the tub and let the water drain out by gravity...for the rinse cycle you put the drain hose back up behind the washer and repeat the process of adding the water and just add your softner if you use it...You can rinse a second time if you like to make sure all the detergent and softner is out. After draining the final time clothes are just as soaked as if you hand washed them..A spin dryer is a necessity not an option trust me...I...

if you camp or RV this is the ticket
I love mine. Got it for a better price though. How much work is it to turn on the hose to fill it? Let the water drain etc.?
It doesn't spin but I hang my clothes in the sun so it doesn't matter. It beats the wash board I used all last summer.
This is the ticket if you camp a lot or are a full time RV'er like me.

Really loved it
We gave this as a gift for some friends we visit near Salt Lake City. We got it to use for an apres ski dinner. We decided what we wanted to grill and serve as sides. We made a beef and red wine soup along with the traditional sides, sausages, potatoes, gherkins, red peppers, etc. Although the red peppers didn't grill so well (they were barely charred after 10 or so mins.), the cheese was really delicious. The center 2 pans of cheese melt faster than the outer ones, so it took a little watching to make sure to move the center pans outward and replenish the inner pans with fresh, unmelted cheese as needed.

GNP Heavy Duty Snow Cone Syrup 1oz Pump Dispenser Concession Supplies

The item is exactly as described and functions perfectly. Only small problem is the spout drips after use for a time later. With cherry syrup, the drips stain and are very hard to remove. If the unit can not be made to not drip(as in when you even lift the container ), a suitable drip container must be used by the consumer.

A must if using the gallon size syrup
We bought the gallon size syrup for a party - and I spent the extra money on this pump, and I am glad that I did. We would have wasted a lot of syrup without it. I will say one thing - be cautious of how hard you push down on the pump, if you go too fast, it will squirt out faster than expected and make a mess. At the end of the day, pretty much all of the flavors of Sno Cone syrup seem to stain, so just be careful! One nice thing about the pump is that it completely comes apart and you can clean every single piece of the pump, which is nice for when you want to remove it and store it.

Possibly good for a party?
We bought two gallon sized syrups for home use, so I thought I would need the pump. We bought 2 pumps, one for each. Both have a problem with dripping. If you press too hard, the syrup goes everywhere. Definitely a mess. It would probably be a good idea for outdoor one-time usage. It was difficult to store and too much of a mess for us. When we make snow cones, we make 11 at a time. So, I think this would be for more carnival/fair usage. In their defense, it does say concession supplies, but with our family size, usually commercial size works well.

Fantech WC 15 Speed Control w/On-Off Switch 115V/5A

Good overall
The switches and knob seem good and work well. the face plate is flimsy at best. Unless your unit is mounted perfectly, the plate flexes and pulls away from the wall as the mounting screws are tightened. I am going to get two regular face plates to use on mine and it should work out well. The switch can be adjusted on the low end, but not the high end, where I needed it. This was a little disappointing. Overall though the switch works well.

The speed control is robust and works as described. One of the few decent priced speed controls that works with a high power exhaust fan. Shipping was as expected. Response to pre sale questions was limited but acceptable.

Westbend 9CUP Percolator

Great Little Pot
This little coffee pot is just wonderful. Yes, it is plastic, but I have had plastic percolator's before, and they worked well. The coffee from this little pot is delicious. With a regular coffee maker, the water drips through once, and you have your coffee. With this percolator, it really is brewed coffee, it drips through and perks, and perks, and you can smell the coffee being brewed, for real. The proof is in the taste though, and I was quite pleased with the deep coffee taste from this little pot. Would I recommend it to others, absolutely.

It does take a bit longer to brew the coffee in this percolator, but it is well worth the time. I don't really think you will mind, not after you taste the end result.

Tatung Induction Cooker with Stainless Steel Pot - 1500 Watts(BLACK)

Works well, exellent unit
This cooktop is a great way to try induction cooking. It is very fast. The heat control is precise and responsive like gas; maybe better. The pan is a nice bonus. Warning, it may not work with all of your pans, especially if they are all aluminum or copper-clad stainless.

It's portable and lightweight. It will be excellent for home canning. It will also provide an additional side burner for holiday meals.

The fan makes a little noise, like a small microwave. Some pans make a slight whirring sound as current is induced through them. I think this is cool but some may find the sound disconcerting. Both of these attributes are typical of these units.

Been testing TICT-1500W with a purpose....
I'm building some ECO cottages with kitchenettes; therefore, my interest exceeds even that of the typical homeowner. Induction cooking is the most efficient way to cook, so with "eco" cottages, I love the technology and fully intend to use it.

Built-in nduction cooktops cost a mint, so I wanted to try this, plus if you're doing something in the kitchen that doesn't require its use, you can put it aside in the corner of the countertop or even store it in the cupboard. Alternately, you can pull the spare from the cabinet and have two running, no problem.

These are very common in Europe but just catching on here. In 10 years, I predict these will dominate U.S. cooking. Why? Simple, the direct control of gas with the ease of care associated with a smooth electric cooktop. Induction is actually superior in easy care because the cooking surface doesn't get hot, so the overflow from your pot will not create a baked-on mess on the cooktop surface.

Works with my basic stainless steel pots I bought from Macy's years back. It's a bit noisy - there's high pitch sound at low heat settings. Quiet down at higher settings though. It heats things up very fast, and very easy to clean afterward.

Amana Defrost Thermostat 10442411

Worked fine on my Amana Refrigerator
I bought this unit to replace the one on my Amana Model SRD21VW-P1315501WW. The refridgerator called out for a Defrost Thermostat R0161088 which is the same sensor unit with a large harness and several connectors which cost $34 and required running wires through the back wall of the freezer compartment.

My freezer kept getting stuck in a defrost cycle (ice cubes melt and then freezing back into a big chunk). To test, I cut the old one out of the existing harness, leaving about 4" inches on the thermostat. I then put the T-Stat in ice water to check for continuity and removed it to if it opened at around 40-50 degrees. The thermostat failed so I ordered this one as a replacement. Crimped on male and female connectors to the harness and the new thermostat and voila! My refridgerator was back in business.

Fridge was not defrosting, now it is
Exactly what I needed. Amana fridge was building up frost/ice in the back of the freezer. After melting with a hair dryer, it worked okay for two weeks, then all the ice/frost built up again. The thermostat was not allowing the defrost heater to kick in (once a day) to melt the ice. This thermostat fit the bill and cost way less than calling a repair person. Identical to the original.

Great ! OEM pproduct. It wired right up no problem. Mine went bad. And anywhere in town they wanted an arm and a leg for one of the defrost t-stats and they are fairly cheap and amazon had what I was looking for at the right price. Can't beat that with a stick!

Used it for two weeks now. Handled years of cellar dust and cat box odors in an older house. It perforrms as described.

Does a great job
I had a Hunter before purchasing this air cleaner. The hunter did good for its time, but was getting old and not cleaning the air as it should.

I have had this running 24 hrs per day for last couple days that I had this. It does wonders in cleaning the air and odors. I used the ozone on first day and you do need to air out room. I will need to take out one of the ozone plates due to size of our apt. and this pruifier is for a 3000 sq ft area. Thats about 10 times bigger than our 1 bedroom apt.

Other reviews said you get a smell like after a thunderstorm. I would not say this is true. The oder without the ozone, is noticable when first entering the apt. but you dont notice it much after a min or two. And the apt does smell alot better. I do smoke and inside the apt so I gotten this to eliminate the smoke odor and it does that very well. Better than the hunter ever did.

Whirlpool Dishwasher Latch Handle Assembly

All that it was supposed to be.
Fits. Right color. Looks as well made as the original. If you can change a light bulb you can do this and save yourself a large repair bill.

The important things to note are: 1. Make sure you break the circuit to the unit before starting as the switches on the latch are, of course, live; 2. Be careful with the edge of the inside of the door panel when you loosen that and lift it to get at the latch, those edges are quite sharp.

The slightly tricky step is disconnecting the old switches from the cable bayonet connections. However, if your problem is that the handle has broken then you can leave the switches cabled up and move them to the new latch saving you the trouble and still having the new switches in case one of the old ones eventually fails.

Easy to get a handle on this
This was exactly what it took to fix my dishwasher's broken latch. Thanks to an on-line video that showed how to do it, with my power screw driver and a pair of needle nose pliers, I had the old one out and the new one installed in less than ten minutes. It has worked fine now for several months. Looks identical to the original one.

If you do not already own one of these; I highly recommend you get one for your safe. All this thing does is slightly elevate the temperature inside the safe to keep moisture from condensing on your guns.

This thing really does work.

It just works
It just works. Easy option for plug-in or hard-wired installation. 8 watts should be plenty for a small safe.

Combine with a dessicant-type dehumidifier for more protection.

12" Golden Rod
I have a larger Golden Rod, but needed this 12" model for a smaller gun safe. Golden Rods are terrific! No sign of moisture and very convenient. Highly recommended!

Supco Replacement Ice Maker Kit for GE Refrigerator/Freezers RIM300

Great price!
The replacement ice maker works fine. It was half the cost of the part from GE. I can even make the icecubes larger.

Don't Buy!
This unit is very flimsy and cheaply made. While the electrical connector matched, it did not physically fit my GE profile refrigerator.

Perfect replacement for my old icemaker
This replacement works perfectly after the coating on my old icemaker started flaking off and getting into the ice. The brackets on the icemaker lined up perfectly with the holes in the freezer. The wiring harness pushed in easily and the pins lined up as they should. I would have liked to have had a small "snap" or "click" to know that the harness was full seated when it was pushed in place, but there wasn't. I just had to trust that it was pushed in far enough to make good contact.

Overall, I am very happy with it. It was definitely more cost effective going with this product than trying to order one through Kenmore. Those were going for $100.00!

Bought as a gift for my Fiancee and we love it. Use quite often, simple to use and clean. Works great

Old round grill was better
Had the original round grill for a long time and loved it. this one does not match up. Does not get hot enough to really "grill"
foods. So, I am disappointed.
