Work perfectly for sous vide, probably a lot healthier than using ziplocks
Far less expensive than spending $150 on a food saver. So far I've been able to reuse the bag 5 times without any loss of function. I don't have to worry about the chemicals in the ziplock bags.

We used these to pasteurize fruit for beer brewing. Worked great and no mess, compared to boiling it directly in a pot. Also water prevents any sugars from burning, so bonus.
