Very effective and durable
I am a professional commercial cleaner and therefore I have used many different styles and brands of commercial vacuums. The number one problem with Uprights and Canisters is that they have limited mobility and they have difficulty reaching behind, around and under furniture. This Vacuum comes with a 50 foot extension cord, and a very maneuverable wand and floor tool. What the floor tool cannot get, the brush, crevice tool and upholstery tool can. There are multiple other attachments and wands for these. I always liked these and when our Bissel fell apart, we needed something more durable and something that could get stairs, vents and cobwebs off of high and hard to reach places. This is durable, powerful and effective, and that is a feature that uprights and canister vacuums do not have. They can get dust, debris and dirt in places others can only hope to get. I have used both the Super Quarter Vac and the Supercoach Vac. The Super is not much heavier than the Quarter and has more...
Great Vacuum
I got this vacuum for my home knowing that I would love it. I have been using the same brand/type at work for the last 3 years now, sometimes up to 6 hours a night. I knew if it could stand up to that kind of abuse it was a good deal for the price for my personal use. Showed up promptly and was exactly what I wanted.
SO much better than an upright
I swear by these vacuums for commercial (and personal!) use. I used them extensively while working as a housekeeper at my university and realized it would be great for a home as well. I bought one and I've been happy with it ever since. You can get what would take at least 3 hours with an upright done in half the time or less with double the thoroughness! Seriously, they rock. Practical, durable, powerful, easily maneuverable.
The only things to watch out for would be its suction. When the aluminum wand is removed, it seems like anything within 5 inches of the end of the hose is at risk of being sucked up into the bag. This is a good and a bad thing: corners are an absolute breeze, but the vacuum is very eager to suck on your pant leg or nearby papers. It's also easy to bump into stuff while it's on your back; it's not very heavy and it's easy to forget it's there.
The dust and debris don't have to pass through any spinning parts or belts before being caught in...
