Genuine GE 9" burner
Perfect replacement for my GE profile smooth cooktop. Turned power off, lifted the cooktop off the counter, removed 8-10 screws on the side, removed the 5 knots on the top, then lifted the top off. Pulled off like 4 wire taps and the whole thing came off. I had to remove the 2 metal "wings" off the old burner since the new one didn't come with them and reused on the new one. Reversed the steps and that was it.
Burner working good, so far.....
Paid about half of what GE people wanted for this burner. Went ahead and had a tech install it, for $80.00. Still the total was less than what GE company wanted for the burner. My wife is happy, and I am too, so she can cook easier.....
Works fine and excellent price
Bought this cause mine burned out. This unit works great and easy to install. If you need help on installation, youtube you stove type and watch others do it, that's what I did.
