Wow. This product is great.
I can't drink coffee without froth. I have tried the froth machines, the frothers with glass beakers, and the battery powered hand units. This is the best frother out of everything I have tried hands down. There is nothing negative to say about the product except maybe the price is a little high (considering it was made in China).
Like the frothers made by companies like Bodum it makes froth by pouring cream or soy into the device and hand pumping the device ten to twenty times. It holds up to four cups of liquid, and froths it like crazy. Seriously, it churns out froth better then any of the other type devices. I think this is because the device is bigger and has a large plunger. It is also more heavy, which makes it easier to pump and produces a more effective result.
Further, unlike the hand devices from companies like Bodum, this is made out of steel (except some of minor parts, which are plastic) not the thin glass Bodum's (and some other companies) frothers...
Handle gets hot
All in all this is a great frother. It does what it is supposed to do. The only problem is that when you heat the milk on the stove top the handle get hot as well. Other than that I haven't found a frother that works better than this one, and I have tried a plethora of them.

I have become very particular about my coffee as I have gotten older, and foamed milk is a must for me in the morning. :) I have been using a bodum frother, but I kept breaking the glass beakers that go with it so I have been using a plastic cup for years. I finally decided to splurge this Christmas and get the Norpro milk foamer. At first, I was afraid it was too big for one person. I was wrong. It makes to best frothed milk - just watch how much milk you pour in if you are the only one having a cup. If you are making coffee for more than one person- perfect! I highly recommend this product. Froth away!
