Wonderful chocolate
A friend provided the fountain for a wedding reception, and was unaware that fountain chocolate was available. He had previously mixed his chocolate through trial and error, adding oil, then chocolate, then more oil.... I had read about Sephra's chocolate and liked that it was pre-blended with the right amount of oil to use in any chocolate fountain.
We gave it a try and it was a hit! We went through three bags of chocolate in as many hours. The dark chocolate provided a nice counterpoint to the sweetness of the fruit without being overly sweet. Being able to microwave the chocolate, pour it into the fountain and walk away was wonderful.
All I was hoping for and more. =)
It is FAR better than melting some Hershey chips and mixing it with oil. I was skeptical after reading a few bad reviews, but I tried it anyway because I really wanted to take some chances and find a remarkable chocolate that was easy to handle. If you follow the instructions on the package, this works wonderfully and is premium tasting chocolate. Great ... great ... and great. It IS a genuine dark chocolate and went well with pretzels, angel food cake, wafer cookies, strawberries, marshmallows, and rice krispies.
Just be sure not to drip any dark chocolate on your three wolf moon t-shirt ... as I did ...but that's a story for another time & place.
Better options out there
Im not going to say this stuff is terrible it is not a 1 or 2 star but there are much better options out there. You should check out the SF Signature chocolate tastes better, flows better, and cheaper therefore much better product. I use to buy this stuff for my business but now use sf signature chocolate and we are much happier.
